| Artist as Excavator- For me, the world as we experience it is complex/many layered. Every small aspect of our physical environment is ripe with associations - some culturally determined - some created by our own personal history. It is this richness of meanings that I as a visual artist engage with and manipulate to create objects that speak of these metaphoric meanings. |
